Demag Plastics Group is concentrating its world-wide injection moulding machine range to include the full hydraulic Systec machine series, the all-electric IntElect machines, and the EL-EXIS S hybrid fast-cycling machines. Through innovations and new additions, Demag will be offering one of the youngest product portfolios among all IMM builders in 2008. Thanks to far-reaching measures, the company has distinctly boosted the efficiency of its production locations.
SYSTEC
With its different expansion levels, the Systec provides a dependable and custom-designed solution for every task: From maximum cost effectiveness in standard tasks, with absolute flexibility for the ever changing production environment, to cutting-edge performance on high-end applications. Four expansion stages matched to each other – from the Systec Basis to the Systec Performance version with parallel movements of all drive axes – enable you to tailor the machine specification to the respective application. An extensive option range provides the appropriate solution for almost all application requirements. The Systec Machine Range is offered with clamping forces ranging from 500 kN to 20,000 kN.IntElect
With its high-torque direct drives for all main movements, the dynamic response, the clean-room suitability and, not least, the low energy consumption, the IntElect is first choice. Owing to the fact that all movements can be carried out in parallel, the IntElect enables in many cases a substantial increase in productivity. Two expansion stages in combination with an extensive option range offers the appropriate solution for almost all application requirements. The machine range is selectively completed by wide-platen models. Sumitomo-Demag develops and manufactures direct drives in-house. To have this core competence in one’s own company means a significant com petitive edge and an independence from third parties in this area. The EL-EXIS machine with an innovative design, combining the advantages of electric and hydraulic fast-cycling machines setting new standards using independent drives operating in parallel for each movement of the machine: With shortest cycle times, optimum dynamics and energy-efficient operation. Additional modular options for the mould clamping unit and the injection unit offer the appropriate solutions for nearly every application. An extensive option range offers the appropriate solution for nearly every fast-cycling and precision moulded part to be produced. High precision and high process stability are becoming more and more important. Thanks to direct servo-motor drive and intelligent servo-motor control, the machines of the SE-DU Machine range meet the increasing de- mands of the moulders in an ideal manner. A powerful and quick-acting injection unit and an absolutely reliable, accurate and quick-acting clamping mechanism bring the SE-DU Machine range into the top class of all-electric machines. The SE-DU Machine range with clamping forces ranging from 180 kN to 1,800 kN is based on the latest technology and feature a high degree of performance and precision. The SE-DU Machine range is offered with clamping forces ranging from 180 kN to 1,800 kN.
